Another safe gift for a new baby is to buy necessities. Babies need lots and lots of diapers, bottles, burp rags, pacifiers, etc. You can never go wrong with these types of things.

I developed post partum cardiomyopathy after the birth of my son and during my pregnancy there were indicators that something was wrong but my doctor passed it off as normal things related to pregnancy. It wasn’t and deep down I knew it but couldn’t get him to listen, I almost died two days after my son was born, I was nursing him in the er when I went into arrest. I guess what I’m trying to share is listen to your body. If you think something is wrong get someone to listen and don’t stop until they do, it just might save your life.
