  1. Heather Hayes Panjon says:

I Would Encourage All Girls To Write Something They Love About Themselves Or A Quote That Inspires Them On A Piece Of Paper And Hold It While Taking A Picture, It Will Boost Confidence!, And Allow Acceptance Of Inner/ Outer Beauty.

  2. Jo-Ann Brightman

I would play with the girls until they loosen up and then tell them to say good things about themselves

  3. To not worry about pleasing other people or saying what you think others want to hear – to just be your own person

  4. Girls and women have the same problem, we all have insecurities at some point in our lives. It’s how we come to terms with ourselves and our bodies, learn to love and respect ourselves, and tune out negativity. If we don’t love ourselves, we can’t expect others to love us.

  5. Tell her to just have fun and be herself

  6. To have the girls do whatever they would do is they were talking to their best friend & just have fun with it

  7. Dorothy Teel says:

I would have the girls smile, laugh and remind them that we all are pretty and that a smile makes everything beautiful, I think that DOVE has a wonderful idea.

  8. Judy Gregory

To ignore the negative people in the world. it’s cliche, but let your inner beauty show and who cares about the rest.

  9. I have 4 daughters & 11 granddaughter & I have always told them that they are a gift from God & that God does NOT make mistakes!! That He made them beautiful & perfect!!! I have also told them that they (a woman) could do anything a guy could do – maybe even better!! And if somebody doesn’t believe them tell them to come talk to me!!

  10. Linda Bradshaw says:

To be yourself, to have fun, and not worry so much about what others think. You don’t have to please everyone.

  11. Kelly Nicholson says:

Tell us how you would encourage girls of all ages to feel courageous in front of the camera

keep yer clothes on…seriously…just be natural

  12. I tell girls to not worry what “they think other people think of them.”
If they are happy then that will spread to others.

  13. Lisa Kerr

I have always hated having my picture since I was very young (Im 46) now! But the older I get the easier it is! I guess I would say being comfortable with who you are and happy with yourself is the best attitude to have for yourself and makes being in front of the camera much easier! Thank you!!

  14. sally guenterberg says:

I would tell them to think about what they would like to do for someone else that day.

  15. Julie Simpson says:

I have always told my daughter to have confidence and to know her worth. She’s independent and outgoing and it started at home , I always let her know Ioved her.
