Hunger Games Trilogy and Hunger Games Blu-Ray Combo Pack Giveaway

Baby Costcutters is so happy to have teamed up with Mom Powered Media, connecting with bloggers the super mom way!

Hunger Games Synopsis

Every year in the ruins of what was once North America, the Capitol of the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete in the Hunger Games. A twisted punishment for a past uprising and an ongoing government intimidation tactic, the Hunger Games are a nationally televised event in which “Tributes” must fight with one another until one survivor remains. Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen volunteers in her younger sister’s place to enter the games, and is forced to rely upon her sharp instincts as well as the mentorship of drunken former victor Haymitch Abernathy when she’s pitted against highly-trained Tributes who have prepared for these Games their entire lives. If she’s ever to return home to District 12, Katniss must make impossible choices in the arena that weigh survival against humanity and life against love.

I read the 1st book & loved it. Haven’t read the other 2 but can’t wait too! Not a fan of going to the movies…I usually wait for it to come out on dvd so it’s definitely on my must see list :)

I read the first book during my three hour sugar test when I was pregnant! Thanksfully I had it to keep me entertained, and I couldn’t put it down! I requested the next two from the library and thought it was a great series. I did go see the movie as well a few weeks after my son was born! I thought it was extremely well done. A few minor details were changed but nothing that affected the overall story. Can’t wait for the next two! Love Katniss, such a better, stronger, and well-written character than any in Twilight or 50 Shades of Gray!
