Pure Health White Mulberry & Plant-Derived Vitamin D3 Review
One of my New Year’s Resolutions is to get health this year. I want to start with what I am putting into my body. What things are good for my body to function properly on a regular basis? While Mulberry and Plant-Derived Vitamin D3 are suppose to be great for you so I wanted to give them a try. I am not talking about losing weight. There is a difference between a goal to losing weight and a goal to getting healthy. Of course, when you start to change your lifestyle to “get healthy” it is inevitable that you will lose weight but that is a totally different topic.
A few month’s back I was watching The Dr. Oz show on TV and they talked about how White Mulberry is the new must have in your diet. So of course when I was contacted by Pure Health 100 to write a review and giveaway this was the first item I wanted! I ordered the Pure Health Naturally White Mulberry, Plant-Derived Vitamin D3, and the Nature’s White Mulberry Leaf Tea.
According to the Web MD site:
White mulberry is an herb. The powdered leaves are most commonly used for medicine. The fruit can be used for food, either raw or cooked. White mulberry is often tried in order to help treat diabetes. It is also tried for treating high cholesterol levels, high blood pressure, the common cold and its symptoms, muscle and joint pain such as from arthritis, constipation, dizziness, ringing in the ears, hair loss, and premature graying.
How does it work?
There are some chemicals in white mulberry that work in a similar way to some medicines used for type 2 diabetes. They slow the breakdown of sugars in the gut so that they are absorbed more slowly into the blood. This helps the body keep blood sugar levels in the desirable range.
I also ordered the Plant-Derived Vitamin D3 because I know I do not get enough sunlight. So, it is what they like to say “Sunlight in a bottle.” Pure Health’s Plant-Based Vitamin D3 is a vegetarian supplement sourced from lichen. A natural-born fighter, lichen grows all over the world in tough conditions, allowing us to create a hearty supplement with 5,000 IU of Vitamin D3 per serving. These are just small little capsules you take 2 a day or as recommend by your health care provider.
The White Mulberry tea comes in pre-made tea bags you make just like you would make any other cup of tea. Boiling water over tea bag, steep for around 10 to 15 minutes and enjoy. I love on the label it has: “Other Ingredients: Nothing Else!” 🙂 The white mulberry supplements are regular size capsules you take 1 capsule 30 minutes before meals or directed by a health care provider.
I have just received all of my products and am very excited to try them all! I have started trying them and like them so far. I will keep you posted on how they work for me! Let me use them for a full month and I will see if they make a change for me.
