My seven-year old is getting to that age where he is asking questions about how real is Santa. So, I want to give him more reasons to still believe! So I am going to offer him “proof” of Santa!
Catch A Character lets you take your own picture, upload it {very easy to do}, add their Character, then print and share! The cost is $9.99. Note: these are digital images they are offering you, if you have a printer you can print them out or you can download the image and sent them to print {like Walmart, Walgreens, ect.}.
They even have Santa in different poses to make sure you can easily fit him into the picture…..LOVE IT!!
Plus, right now you can enter their giveaway of a brand new iPad.
This is my living room and this was very easy to do! I took the picture then used the upload button on their site. Added the Santa I wanted, paid {well they gave me a free code for this post}, then they emailed me the link to my finished image!
We have been doing Elf on the Shelf {ours is named Freddy} this year so I made sure he was in the picture too! So, on Christmas morning Freddy is going to leave this picture behind with a note saying he took the picture for my son! How cute is that!!

I want to do this when my girls are older! Right now we leave baking soda and glitter “footprints” and my husband chews up some carrots and broccoli and then spits it out on the ground outside to show my daughter than the reindeer were there!

I love the idea of the coat rack to hang all the stockings on.

This is such a neat idea! I wish I had kids to do this with. Definitely will when I do 🙂

7 is too old to believe in Santa. It’s a good idea for younger kids. If they’re old enough to ask they kind of already know.

How awesome is THAT! I’ve been wanting to do Elf on the Shelf for awhile now…

That’s a great idea, thanks for sharing. This idea might buy a few extra years of the “magic”!

You make is sound easy and that’s a good thing – for ten bucks, it’s a little extra fun and magic around the holiday season.

Kids shouldn’t be told that there’s a fat man in a red suit that brings gifts. It’s just wrong.

Oh my gosh this is genius! What a way to keep the magic alive for any of our beloved characters.
lisa says
I’ll bet the kids love it.

when my son was 7 he said all the kids at school say there is no santa claus. i told him they were wrong. i will regret saying that til the day i die. the next year, the ‘secret’ was getting harder and harder to keep, so i told him the truth. his immediate reaction was such overwhelming despair and devastation i thought he was going to have a nervous breakdown or just pass out. he was sobbing uncontrollably and almost couldnt breath. he was in genuine pain, actual heartbreak. he couldnt speak or say anything for quite a few minutes. then he looked at me and said “you have been lying to me my entire life!? why did you do that to me?”. he didnt care that santa wasnt real. he had always just believed in his mom.
i still cry just thinking of that day. it was not worth it. i know this is not typical and most children do not think the way my son did. but i will never ever tell another child that santa is real.
