Avalon Bay AB-Airfryer100B Delux Air Fryer Review ~ Chicken & Potatoes Recipe
The Avalon Bay Air Fryer offers you the ability to enjoy your favorite foods while also leading a healthier lifestyle. Using the Avalon Bay Air Fryer you can Fry, Bake, Grill or Roast your food for you and your family.
How it Works
The Avalon Bay Air Fryer has the technology using heat and a fan to remove the fats and oils from your food. The fats and oils drip through the drip basket into the bottom pan. It then AirFrys the food by lifting the oil and making your food airborne by coating it. It does this continuously throughout the cooking process.
What I Like
I love how fast the food cooks without having to make a huge mess in my kitchen actually frying food! I can fit as many items in the Avalon as I would on a cookie sheet. So, being able to cook them in the Air Fryer instead of, for example on broil in the oven is wonderful! I have not bought any frozen pre-made foods yet to cook but, I image those are wonderful in the Avolon Bay Air Fryer.
The craftsmanship of the the Avalon Bay Air Fryer has been done well with a lot of thought in my opinion. Weighing only 11 pounds the Avalon Baby Air Fryer is the perfect weight for a well built kitchen appliance….not to heavy you can’t move it around and not to light it will knock over it you bump it accidentally.
The sleek style goes nice in my kitchen. Nice enough I would not worry about leaving it out on the counter-top when not in use.
Dislikes
One dislike about the Avolon Bay Air Fryer for me would be it is a little to small for my large family. We are a family of five so for me to cook a family meal I have to do two cooking session. Which that being said, it cooks so fast cooking two session is not that big of a deal.
I also found it a little odd the way the temperature degrees where listed on the turn knob. The Avalon Bay Air Fryer website states it goes up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit however, the showing degrees are 176, 248, 320, and 392. This just seems odd to me but, it did not effect my cooking.
Where to Buy
I would recommend if you love fried food to purchase the Avalon Bay Air Fryer if you love fried food but perhaps not the fried food mess!

I think the system is pretty cool, but I think will continue to cook chicken the old fashion way, either on the stove or in the oven, which in the oven I usually do most of the time anyway.. and I also use a rack so the grease drops to the pan below, so I don’t have to deal with yucky grease or fat from the meat… I wonder if I could use something like this with vegetables ๐

I think this is an awesome way to get fried foods without the mess of oil splattering and am very intrigued by the concept. I don’t fry foods very often because of the mess and the fact that it is expensive to use good/healthier oils. This would be a great addition to my kitchen.

I’ve been keeping my eye on these since they popped up a few years ago, but as we don’t eat fried, I couldn’t justify the expense. Now the price is almost half of what they were and your pictures of actual food (not staged) may actually push me over the hump into healthy fried food (sure do miss it)

When I first saw these air fryers, I remember thinking how awesome that would be. I was more concerned with the mess of a big pot of oil and all the splatter. I would love to try one out but I have my reservations that fried chicken would be the same.
