Summer brings fun in the sun and an increase in outdoor activities. If you own a pool, you are most likely aware of the great enjoyment you can have. For adults, you may wish to put a few board games like chess or backgammon around at the tables, and allow your guests to freely mingle, eat, swim, and relax.
4. Decorations can be light and simple to create a relaxing ambience. Fresh flowers are always a great theme. For evening parties, decorate with lanterns, floating candles, or tiki torches to set a tranquil tone.
5. Clean the pool. Be sure to clear your pool of debris and check your water quality.
6. Make safety a priority. Injuries can miserably end a party real fast. Provide life preserver rings, and consider hiring a lifeguard. Post pools safety signs around the pool if children will be present.
7. Provide Conveniences such as freshly laundered towels, flip-flops, sunscreen, and bug spray.
