I wonder if any of you have thought about cloth diapering? Honestly, my first thought use to be what??..No way! My mind would flash to the old style of cloth diapering with the big pins. That is not my opinion anymore after having the opportunity to try out a few of today’s modern style of cloth diapering!
Baby Costcutters is going to be participating in a Cloth Diaper Hop starting June 4th. All of you will have the opportunity to hop from blog to blog to sign up to win cloth diapers. Also, there will be a grand prize to win! Baby Costcutters will have several diapers to win and detergent. If you would like to be a sponsor for more cloth diapering products please contact me, I would love to add to the prize pack.
Since there will be more than one product I would like to take the time today to tell you about one of the prizes today.
One of the prizes will be two diapers from Glow Bug Cloth Diapers ($25 value). Right on their home page are two great videos! One tells you all about who they are and how the company came to be, the other is a great summary of their products and how they work.
Baby Costcutters did receive one cloth diaper to complete a review of the product.
I really do love this diaper! Glow Bug Cloth Diapers started as a small company with two moms who wanted better cloth diapers for their children. I do have to say they have succeeded.
The diapers are made of 100% polyester laminated with polyurethane on the outside and their exclusive SlimDry material is 100% polyester on the inside. The inserts are 70% polyester and 30% nylon microfiber. When I was putting the diaper on my son I really did love the feel of the material. It did not feel like I was putting plastic on him like the disposable diapers.
Each diaper comes with 2 absorbent snap-in inserts. The diapers have two sets of cross-over snaps through the waist band and double rows of snaps with square tabs for a trim fit through the hip.
The diapers adjust to four size settings to fit babies from birth through potty training (7lbs-35lbs). This is great!! Can you imagine how much money you could save not purchasing disposable diapers! Think about how much money you spend a month on diapers….to purchase a package of 12 diapers with 2 absorbent snap-in inserts each is only $150! I would think at the most you would purchase two packs making it only $300 to cover diapers from birth to potty training! That is a great deal!
Each diapers has waterproof flaps in the front and the back of each diaper to prevent leaks 🙂
Plus, they have a NEW SlimDr fabric that keeps baby’s skin dry without the bulk! Zackery wore this diaper and loved it. He noticed a difference as soon as I put the diaper on him and I have to say I believe he really like it! Even when he wet the diaper I was not really sure it was wet because it did now swell up the way a disposable diaper does. It did not leak and fit like a glove. I would recommend Glog Bug Cloth Diapers.
If you would like to purchase cloth diapers head on over to Glow Bug Diapers. If you would like to win them make sure to check back on June 4, 2012, for the Fluffy Butts Cloth Diapering Giveaway Hop.
