First you can use it to find great deals of course. When you log-in it is basically a social media feed of great deals posted by users of the website. You can narrow down your feed by searching or selecting categories. You can see “On Fire Deals”, “Hot Deals”, stores you follow, or search for a certain store. 

However, Dealspotr is much more than just a site to find a great deal! It is a fun community website for you to share great deals and earn rewards. Recently, Dealspotr has launched a new feature that allows you to “spot” great deals to earn more reward points! If you spot a deal early and it becomes “HOT” or “ON FIRE” you earn even more! There is one catch, you’re limited to 3 spots per day. So, you need to be selective about which deals you spot. However, if you prove yourself to be a great deal spotter you can accrue more “spots” per day.

How to Earn Points

In a nutshell, you earn points for doing anything helpful and positive on Dealspotr towards our end of helping more people save more money. On the flip side, you can lose points for doing anything harmful to the community. You earn points for sharing deals, spotting (curating) deals, flagging invalid deals, referring new members, making helpful comments, and many other actions. Whenever you earn points, you’ll receive a notification in your Dashboard alerting you to your new points and why you earned it.

You can ‘spot’ two different types of deals. 

• Product Deal ~ A discount, markdown or sale that applies to a single product, a manufacture brand or group of products.
• Store-Wide or Sale ~ A sale, promo code or printable that provides a discount to an entire store, section or sale event.

On Dealspotr, we offer you a fun way to earn additional points each day by completing a checklist of tasks. Every day you’ll receive a new checklist to complete with tasks such as adding specific types of deals or different ways of engaging with other members. You must complete the checklist in the day it is provided to earn the bonus points, or else it will refresh and you’ll need to start fresh on the next day’s checklist.

Refer Friends

You can also refer friends to earn points. You’ll earn 10% of the lifetime points that they earn!

Be Active

Basically, Dealspotr rewards users. If you are commenting, liking, or flagging deals the correct way you will be rewarded with points. When Dealspotr sees you are being helpful to the community you get rewarded!
