I was asking on Facebook earlier this morning for a free downloadable recipe template I could use to input my own recipes then print them out at home. Well, I have not been able to find one I liked so I decided to make one for myself. Most of the ones I found where for two a page or did not allow me to edit the format I wanted.
This year one of my goals will be to provide a better variety of meals to my family. We have really gotten into a rut of eating the same meals every week! Every once in awhile we will find a menu we like, I print it out, cook it and it is wonderful. Or, we say okay we like this but, next time we think we should tweak it a little. Then, I lose the recipe or it ends up in the messy drawer full of print outs!
So I would like to become better organized with all of my recipes. Being able to have free downloadable recipe template will be a start in my long term goal to become organized!
Just thought I would share with all of you too. If you want to download just click this link: Recipe Template. It is a word document you can edit to make your own. I was also going to include a picture frame on the side to include an image but, I decided against doing that. I know it is a lot of extra work to take a picture to include but, there is room is you would like to do so.
Once I get a few of my recipes done I will post them here with a print out ready for you. Plus, I am going to put together a recipe book post also.
Hope you enjoy!

Thank you for the template and in advance for all the work you are doing to get the recipes done.

Oh I like this template idea. It’s not too cluttered like I usually see, so you can focus on the recipe. I can print it out and laminate it too. Have to pin this one.

Great idea! I had a lot of recipes saved to a folder in Documents for printing out ‘one day’. Well, before I got my act together, the hard drive died and of course, I hadn’t thought of saving them.

This is a great idea! I’ve been saving recipes in a notebook with clear inserts. I often handwrite and then sometimes have a hard time reading was that 1/2 cup or 1/3 cup or one tablespoon or teaspoon, so it is much better to type on a format like this one!

This is a great printable! I hate the kitchen (I’m no good in there, at all) but my mother is a fantastic cook! She could really use this! 😀

This will be a great help for me and my mom. We have so many recipes we like to use around the holidays. It will be nice to have everything all together in the same place.
