Hammacher Schlemmer sent me this wonderful Seascape Projecting Turtle to review. I am so excited about this turtle and LOVE it!! That is why it has make Baby Costcutters 2012 Holiday Gift Guide.
If you have a little one who likes a little night light, this is the perfect gift!! Plus, today is the last day to order to get yours before Christmas with standard shipping!!
Product Information:
This is the plush turtle that projects a soothing pattern of undulating water onto a room’s walls and ceiling to create a tranquil sleeping environment for children. Encouraging a restful night, the sea turtle rests peacefully with closed eyes while light generated from an array of four blue LEDs passes through its transparent purple plastic shell for a rippling effect suggestive of a reflection pool. The light pattern can be set to move or stay fixed in one place and a dimmer setting controls brightness. Its integral speaker can play the sound of waves gently coming ashore or a lullaby (includes volume controls). Automatically turns off in 23 minutes. Includes three AA batteries. Ages infant and up.

This turtle looks so neat. My son likes to do shadow puppets on the wall. He would love to watch the sealife from the turtle on the wall.

This would be great for my 6 month old, he loves a night light and listening to sound therapy, having it all in one would be terrific.

That’s a cute gift idea for kids afraid of the dark. At some point most of them are.

These are the sweetest things. My children would have loved these in their rooms. Certainly makes the old night light seem a little lame.

This seems like a great product. I’m pregnant right now and we’re considering one for when our baby is a bit older.

The turtle is so cute! If I had a child I would definitely buy one. My boyfriend and I enjoy going to the Loggerhead Marine Life Center here in South FL and visiting the sick/injured turtles so our kid would probably have a lot of turtle related items. I like that the seascape projecting turtle turns off within 23 minutes that way the child may fall asleep with it on, but the batteries won’t drain within a week thanks to the timer.

My daughter would love this. We have a hard time getting her to sleep at night, perhaps this would help!

I bought one of these for my grandson when he was a baby. He’s now 4 and won’t sleep without his turtle!

This turtle is so adorable! It seems like the wave pattern and sounds could be similar to the baby being in amniotic fluid. I wonder if my daughter would like this.
