Disclosure: We received our room at a discounted rate to let all of you know about our experience. All my opinions are 100% my own and true.
I told all of you I would let you know about my stay at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place Chicago.
It was a wonderful experience! Look at the wonderful rooms we had. Ours was an Executive Suite on the 25th floor. Really we had two rooms and a large living room! There were a total of three televisions, even though I never had the chance to even turn mine on. Our rooms were separated by a hall way and we each had our own desk, mini refrigerators, wash rooms, and views!
The views were so beautiful! I could not have asked for a better view! I believe that is the Navy Pier in the distance. The other direction we could see the city and all the buildings! It really was a site to see! We were so high up we could view everything we wanted.
I took the shuttle they offer straight from the airport to the Hyatt. It was wonderful not to have to worry about paying for cab in rush hour traffic. You can book the shuttle on the Hyatt website round trip and pay less then a one way trip.
They also offer a great new program called, “Hyatt Has It”. If you forget something you need for example curling iron or steamer you can borrow it! They also have other items you can purchase {they will add the fee to your room} if you forget like your razor or make-up remover. I was so lucky enough to not forget anything I needed while on my trip.
Funny Story: I used the room safe to put in a few of my personal items while I was talking on the phone to my sister telling her all about my wonderful room and the awesome views! Well, I guess I was not paying attention to what I was doing because later I tried to open the safe and could not figure out my code. hehe So, I called down and they sent someone up to my room RIGHT away! I did not have to hardly wait 4 minutes. They were very helpful and fast to respond!
Also, I am sometimes not on my game with my thought processes lol. Image that huh? Well, after a plane ride and then getting in just in time to hurry up and get out the door to my first event. I could not figure out why the door would unlock so I could lock the door. See, we were at the end of the hall that had double french style doors that opened up into a mini hallway with two door, one on the left one on the right. On the inside doors the locks were open to hold the doors open. Well, me and my blond moment could not for the life of me figure out how to unlock the door so I could shut the door! So, I had to call downstairs…..feeling very stupid. They sent THREE maintenance men up right away! Duh! All I had to do is turn the knob from the inside.
My point of both of my blond moments…….the staff was great and very helpful! Ready to respond to your needs at any time!
