Never Pay an Overweight Luggage Fee Again
How many have you stepped on a scale at home holding your luggage to make sure you are not over the weight restrictions for your travel plans? I have! Last year when I was taking a trip to a blogger conference in Chicago, before I left this is how I made sure I was not over the airlines limits. Well that worked great for leaving but, while I was at the conference I was given a lot of swag. Then, I also won a prize pack from CVS and Walgreens! ๐ Yeah!! But, when I packing to travel home I was very worried I would have to pay an overage charge!
Thankfully, my wonderful blogger friend had just bought the EatSmart Precision Voyager Digital Luggage Scale and let me borrow it to weigh my luggage. Turns out I was overweight by 1 pound!! ONE POUND! Could you image having to try to decide at the airport what to take you or having to pay their outrageous fee!! I took out a few items at the hotel and was good the next morning at the airport. ๐
Now, this year I will not have to borrow one, I have my own now. ๐ EatSmart sent me one to facilitate this review for all of you. If you do not own one yet I highly recommend you purchasing yours before you travel.
Simply clip the EatSmart buckle to the handle of a suitcase or bag. EatSmart’s proprietary two handed SmartGrip design allows for easier lifting of even the heaviest bags. Lift the bag and the scale will beep when the weight has been determined and appear in the large backlit LCD. Push the ON/OFF button and the scale resets to zero for the next bag.
Features
- EatSmart SmartGrip two-handed design – Easier lifting of heavy luggage
- 110 lb / 50 kg capacity – Graduation of .1 lbs / .1 kgs
- Easy-to-read backlit LCD display
- Compact and lightweight design – Perfect for any traveler
- Auto Calibated; Auto Power-Off; Runs on 1 long-life lithium battery (included); 100% EatSmart Satisfaction Guarantee
The scale itself only weighs 5.4 ounces making it perfect for travel!!
You can purchase the EatSmart Precision Voyager Digital Luggage Scale on Amazon priced normally at $49.95 marked down right now for only $19.95!

My hubby really needs this. He has to fly back and forth to work, often taking up to three flights at a time and he’s always worried about luggage fees. This would surely help. Thanks ๐

That’s a good price and if I didn’t already have a similar one, I’d get it. It sure is worth it’s price, the way they nickle and dime you at the airlines.

I’m very happy to hear about this scale for travel. What an unique and more accurate idea for testing weight luggage before boarding a flight. Ticket prices are very high, so why pay any more?

The fees they charge now are crazy high! This is a great thing for anyone who travels on a regular basis. Or for someone who is traveling and likes to bring home souvenirs. Of course a great tip is to ship them home, but just in case I’d travel with this!

Wow! I wish I had had one of these when I flew for 27 years. It would have been indespensable… sigh.

This would be a very useful thing to get for when I travel. I am always paranoid about the weight of my bag because I don’t want to pay the fine. It gets very pricy! And I always have so much stuff to pack… LOL! ๐
