Operation ResCUTE Book & Stuffed Animal Series
We have an adopted cat and dog in our home. I am a strong advocate for the adoption of animals.
That is why we are thrilled to feature OPERATION ResCUTE on our 2014 Holiday Gift Guide!! 100% of the Author’s Profits are donated to help rescue animals get adopted!!
Operation ResCUTE is intended to educate and encourage the next generation of young readers to think about adopting shelter dogs in need of loving homes. The Story of Jingles is a box set kit with a book, stuffed animal, and sticker. Kids can enjoy having the book to read, or read to, then play with the sticker and stuffed animal.
The Story of Jingles is based on a true story about a sweet, homeless puppy who started out on the streets of New York City. Her story shows the resilience and hopefulness that can make dreams come true! You and your child will enjoy reading about the trials and tribulations that Jingles encounters on her way to finding the meaning of true happiness.
This is a great way to educate your child and feel good about making a purchase that benefits the cause.

I am a big advocate for adopting pets as well. I adopted 3 dogs several years ago after they had been abused and had them until they passed at ages 16, 15 and 12. I love that there is a book out there about pet adoption and the stuffed animal is just the icing on the cake. As a former reading teacher, I love all kinds of books that teach children about many important things in life.

I love this idea!!! Raising awareness, starting them young! I have always gone to shelters to rescue animals, glad they are doing something so maybe a new generation can make changes.
Diane Elizabeth says
All of my pets, 3 dogs and 5 cats, are rescues. What a great gift this would be. I think the addition of stickers and a stuffed animal will encourage a child that isn’t really into reading to read this one.
Sue M. says
This sounds like a really good book worth reading! I completely agree that people should adopt shelter pets instead of buying pets from a pet store or online. I adopted my cat from an animal control shelter and she was an awesome cat; rescue pets are the best!

I love to circulate all pictures of dogs and cats that need a home. I see so many cute and lovable animals, I wish I could help them all. But I always try to pass them along. Also buy something from another pet place that have a percentage goes to needy animals. They are so precious and have unconditional love that I would not want to live without having one. My Dog, Molly, was abused I have had her 9 years. Also all my friends have the same emotions and drive to get these Beautiful animals a home:)

I think this is such a wonderful idea but if we don’t educate those about having there animal neutered or spayed and what about those who keep breeding……………. don’t these people realize there is an over population of dogs and cats that are having to be slaughtered every day because of there stupidity…………………………………. thanks for sharing and will share this.. because I believe in saving a life even if it means getting slapped on the cheek
