Smart Lab Room Defender
Programmable Room Security System for Kids

We are excited to feature the Smart Labs Room Defender on our 2014 Holiday Gift Guide! This is a great toy for a boy or girl ages 7 to 12. The Room Defender is a programmable room security system that stops intruders in their tracks! Well, lol I am not sure if it will stop them but, definitely startle them!
Kids learn basic computer programming skills as they record messages, create unlimited programs, and warn trespassers (like their little brother or sister!) to KEEP OUT! Programmers grant access to their room by giving their friends and family secret codes and key cards. Sirens, lights, and sound effects add to the fun! The universal mount attaches to any bedroom door.
The Room Defender will even tell them if an unauthorized visitor entered their room while they were away. This feature I am sure will be a hit with my nine year old son who is always trying to keep his younger brother {who is four} out of his room. Every day when Mr. H comes home he asks if Mr Z has been in his room. When he sets ups this Room Defender he will be able to tell if someone has been in his room. Dang, I may not be able to lie about that anymore lol.

when i first saw the heading i thought it was a security system for a room, now that i read it, great toy for a child. good visual skills, and hand-eye coordination. very cute, could have used this on my older siblings to stay out of my room.

This would have been fun when I was a kid. My son probably would have liked it when he was younger too.

I think my son would love this – not that anyone goes into my room but he’d love the geekiness of it and it would be yet another toy for him! Is it too loud?

This was actually on my son’s wishlist, along with a bunch of other Spy Gear. I know that if he gets it I will be the one who gets pranked on!
